Following Christ’s Example
Introduction: Why Love in the Church Matters
Love in the Church is more than a suggestion—it’s a command from Jesus Christ. When love is at the center of everything we do as believers, the Church becomes a true reflection of God’s heart. At Kingdom Revealed Ministries International, we believe that love is the foundation of our faith, our fellowship, and our spiritual growth.Let us commit to walking in love—not just in word, but in action. Because when love leads, Jesus is revealed.
Jesus: The Perfect Example of Love
Jesus Christ showed us the perfect example of how to love. He loved the outcast, forgave the sinner, and gave His life for the world. As He said in John 13:35, “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
He demonstrated this love by:
- Healing the sick and brokenhearted (Matthew 14:14)
- Forgiving the woman caught in adultery (John 8:1–11)
- Showing mercy to the thief on the cross (Luke 23:39–43)
- Laying down His life for humanity (John 15:13)
How the Church Can Reflect the Love of Christ
To truly follow Jesus, the Church must be a place where love is active and visible. The Bible reminds us to “Follow God’s example… and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us” (Ephesians 5:1–2).
Love in the church looks like:
- Patience and kindness toward one another (1 Corinthians 13:4–5)
- Forgiveness and unity among believers (Colossians 3:13–14)
- Serving one another in humility (Galatians 5:13)
- Supporting each other in times of need (Romans 12:10–13)
Love Builds a Healthy Church Community
When love leads, the church becomes a light in the world. As Scripture says, “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins” (1 Peter 4:8). This kind of love brings healing, unity, and spiritual growth.
At Kingdom Revealed Ministries International, we strive to be a church that lives out the love of Christ daily—in our services, our relationships, and our outreach.
Conclusion: Let Love Lead
Let’s make love the foundation of all we do. Whether in worship, fellowship, or ministry, love in the Church will always point people to Jesus. When love leads, the Kingdom is revealed.
